 The Chelsea midfielder wants a salary increase of £150,000 per week.  Chelsea star Jorginho has rejected the club’s latest contract proposal and is instead seeking a salary increase of around 25%. The Italian is out of contract at the end of the season and he’s received interest from Barcelona, Juventus and AC Milan. The midfielder joined the club from Napoli in a £52m deal in 2018, rejecting a move to Manchester City in the process. The 30-year-old is vice-captain at Stamford Bridge and after a difficult start, he’s now a fans’ favourite at the club. But while Chelsea are keen to keep the Italian, the club have only offered the midfielder an extension of his current deal – meaning Jorginho would remain on the same salary. Chelsea are set to meet a concession with AC Milan for the Portuguese star's release clause to be lowered to £104M.  Chelsea have long been in contention for AC Milan and Portuguese forward, Rafael Leao. Superagent Jorge Mendes is keen to lower AC Milan winger Rafael Leao’s release clause by €30m (£26m) to €120m (£104m), according to Calciomercato.com. The representative of the Chelsea transfer target is currently locked in talks with Milan over a contract extension, which would see the Portuguese player’s salary increase from €1.5m (£1.3m) a year to €7m (£6m). However, as part of the negotiations, Mendes is trying to get a “concession” that would reduce Leao’s buyout fee and consequently make a move away from the San Siro more likely next summer.
