Todd Boehly is ready to give the star a whooping £200,000 per-week contract and even more should he decide to leave his club for Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are willing to offer Arsenal star Bukayo Saka more than the £200,000-a-week contract that he reportedly desires.Saka has been instrumental in Arsenal’s success so far this season, scoring four and assisting four in 10 league appearances. The 21-year-old has formed a formidable strike force with Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli, with the trio helping their side to nine victories in their opening 10 matches to send them top of the league.
The Gunners extended their league at the top of the table on Sunday with a 1-0 victory over Leeds, with Saka scoring the all-important goal in a drama-filled game. The forward fired a fierce strike past Illan Meslier and into the top corner after 35 minutes.
Though Chelsea appear to be hoping to add that exact star quality to their squad, with Ben Jacobs reporting that the Stamford Bridge outfit are willing to offer him a better contract than the one that he is set to sign with The Gunners. He told The Football Terrace that Saka is set to put pen to paper on a £200,000-per-week contract with Arsenal.
Over the past couple of seasons – Saka has developed into one of the most exciting young players in the game and a star that the club have big plans for in the coming seasons.
However – his brilliance on the pitch on a weekly basis has led to many reports that the likes of Real Madrid – Man City and Liverpool are all very much interested in trying to get some kind of deal done in the coming transfer window.
The close of the transfer window just a few days ago gave the Gunners time to work on that deal for Saka – and many believe that a deal is on the horizon.
However – that contract does not look any closer to get announced and if you believe all the rumours – Saka has not yet accepted the £200,000-a-week contract that the Gunners have reportedly offered.
Now Journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that Chelsea are willing to offer him more than £200,000-a-week to convince him to make the move to Stamford Bridge.
It is no secret in the media that Todd Boehly is looking to add some players to the side that will get the club back to the very top of the game – and there are not too many youngsters out there that are better than Saka.
The Blues are keen to bolster their attacking ranks over the coming transfer windows, having already sounded out their interest in AC Milan star Rafael Leao and having Christopher Nkunku complete his medical in hope that they can strike a deal with RB Leipzig.
