The star has signed on a three-year deal for Eredivisie side, FC Volendam.
Chelsea youngster Xavier Mbuyamba, who was once dubbed 'the next Virgil van Dijk', is one of a number of academy exits on deadline day.

The 20-year-old has been keen to leave the Cobham academy since his loan move was denied last January, and has signed a three-year deal with Eredivisie side FC Volendam, per Nizaar Kinsella.

The 20-year old joined the Blues in the summer of 2020 under Frank Lampard, a deal that would see him exit the club in 2023.
Mbuyamba made the first-team matchday squad once, but was never handed a debut despite being poached out of Barcelona's famed La Masia academy.
Personally, this is one Chelsea departure no one saw coming. 20 years, and still has a lot ahead of him.
We wish him all the best in his new club, as official announcement is imminent.
