Jorja signs her first professional contract in 2021.

Jorja extends in 2023.

Jorja Fox joined the Chelsea Academy at the age of eight and progressed through the age groups, making her senior debut for the Blues against Aston Villa during the 2020/21 campaign. Fox then went on to make her first start against the London City Lionesses in a 5-0 victory.

Fox has now signed a contract extension with Chelsea Women which commits her to the club until the summer of 2025, before going on a season-long loan to Women's Super League side Brighton & Hove Albion.

Chelsea Women general manager Paul Green commented on Fox’s extension: ‘We’re extremely happy to be extending Jorja’s contract for a further two years.

‘She has gained a lot of experience with the team over the past season and her loan to Brighton will now help her development further, gaining important WSL match minutes.’ She told the Club's official website.

General manager Paul Green added: ‘We are delighted that Guro has extended her contract with the club. Her goals and assists have been vital to the team’s success in the last few years.

'We look forward to seeing her continue to improve and develop in the upcoming years here at Chelsea."

Reiten’s news follows five new signings this summer with Kadeisha Buchanan, Eve Perisset, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd, Katerina Svitkova and Lucy Watson all joining the Blues. Millie Bright and Niamh Charles have both also committed to three more years with the club.

The first opportunity for fans to see Reiten and the full squad in the 2022/23 WSL campaign will be at Stamford Bridge when the Blues takes on West Ham on Sunday 11 September.

Chelsea Women will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary and Guro is looking forward to returning to the Bridge once more: ‘My first game for Chelsea was at Stamford Bridge! We’ve talked about playing there so many times and finally we can do that with fans as obviously Covid has had an impact on that.

‘It’s going to be a really good moment for us to be back at Stamford Bridge.’

Graham Potter has succeeded in these three areas where Tuchel failed.

OPINION: Graham Potter has succeeded in these three areas where Tuchel failed.  The Blues were back in Premier League action on Saturday, and had sealed a 3-0 victory over Wolves at the Bridge.  The game had seen goals come from the Blues' attacking options, something which had rarely been seen in the Tuchel era.  Not just that, there were noticeable changes and improvement in team set up that were not seen under the former German Boss. All of which will be highlighted below.  Firstly, the handing of debut to Chelsea's signing, Carney Chukwuemeka. Graham Potter's choice to hand one of his starlets a debut demonstrates the trust that he has in the young players at Stamford Bridge that can help him through a tricky run. It's harder than it seems to just trust the youth though.  Tuchel struggled to fully implement the pathway desired and was always focused on the here and now, the short term. He felt warmth with experience. Potter already looks to have brough...
