Chelsea are preparing a bid for Barcelona star, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang as per Fabrizio Romano, with Thomas Tuchel keen on the move.
Recall Aubameyang worked under the current Chelsea Manager at Dortmund, with Thomas Tuchel always full of praise for the 33-year old.
In two seasons under Tuchel, Aubameyang scored 79 goals in 95 Dortmund appearances and Tuchel, when asked before a game vs Arsenal (when Aubameyang was still with the Gunners), on his relationship with Aubameyang once said: “It was a very reliable relationship because he delivered an unbelievable amount of goals, his speed was unique in the Bundesliga and he was a crucial player. A bit of a crazy guy, but nice crazy.
“We still are in touch and exchange messages when one of us has a big win. In some ways, he will still always be my player, so I want him to succeed and have a good time wherever he is. This contact never fully stopped and it’s nice to see him because he’s always on for a hug and it’s nice to see him laugh. But, of course, we want to stop him and there is no exchange now before the game.”
"Tuchel could be looking to re-unite with Aubameyang at Chelsea, given the exit of the club's striking option, Timo Werner to Leipzig. Thomas Tuchel is pushing with Todd Boehly to sign Pierre Aubameyang as he’s considered perfect striker - but Barcelona have not received official proposal yet. 🚨🔵 #CFC

Aubameyang might be 33 years old, but who knows? He could be an attacking asset to Thomas Tuchel, having thrived well under him at Dortmund.
Aubameyang to Chelsea. What do you think, Blues?
